I sat intently on the couch, my mother was away for a while. I awaiting for her return, and my gift. You see, today was my my birthday. I was officially 13, and as my mother promised, when she returned home, we would go over to the lab to see Professor Rowan. He would then present me with my very own pokemon, the very thing I have been waiting for years to do. I watched television, until I heard footsteps at the front door. i jumped up, and my mother walked in.
